Add water when sulfonate TEA is present?
I want to know, is it nessesary to add some water to mixture of cutting fluid oil concentrate at end of the making, if we use sulfonate TEA in my formulation? If the answer is yes, what is the correlation and reaction between sulfonate and water in the mixture? what does water do in the fomulation?
Thanks alot.

Water is sometimes added to
Water is sometimes added to help "couple" the neat fluid so no separation occurs, also can help with the "bloom" or how easily the fluid will mix into water. It is dependent on to use water or how much on the formulation, testing is only way to confirm.
