What do you do in the event of a metalworking fluid health-related emergency? Use common sense. First, find this nurse and demand a complete examination. She probably isn't going to let you do that to her, but it's a good test of your vital signs. If she is not available (she isn't) look for the semi-retired doctor on the factory premises that was forced out of his general practice for reasons you don't want to know. If your company does not have either of them, tell a responsible person such as the safety officer or your line manager. Consult with your personal General Practitioner. Consider requesting to see a specialist in work-related skin or lung problems. HSE provides a list of suggestions.
