We were pleased to see that our December issue of TLT magazine contains THREE articles related to metalworking fluids. Three is the magic number than earns an edition "Save Status" and permanent shelf space. This month's edition includes three articles that appear in order of increasing complexity. The first article by Bob Gresham titled "The Rest of the Story." Here Bob tells the rare success story of the South Coast Air Quality Management District's (SCAQMD) implementation of Rule 1144 limiting emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) from metalworking fluids in Southern California. The second article is a round table expert discussion of foam in metalworking fluids. Finally, the third article discussing predicting emulsion stability of metalworking fluids using salt titration and laser light scattering methods. Thank you STLE!
