Metalworking fluids from Chemtool are provided for various machining and grinding application. It seems the organization is a combination of formulation family + material + operation.  With all those combinations at the first level, it creates a searching issue for the end user.  We will say this - at least they got it all on one page for you.  Several suppliers make you read one product per page at a time, and that is just frustrating.  Here is our summary.

NuSol® Series (Semi-Synthetic)

  • NuSol 21® Supreme : Micro-Emulsion product with the claim of 1 micron droplet size; Multi-Metal product suitable to hard water
  • NuSol 21® HP : Advanced version of Nulsol 21 Supreme; Suitable for Aluminum alloys

NuSol® Alumax Series (Semi-Synthetic)

  • NuSol® Alumax 87 : Formulated for Aluminum and exotic alloys; Severe machining and high speed micro drilling
  • NuSol® Alumax 89 : Micro-Emulsion product with the claim of 1 micron droplet size; PAO claims better lubricity and improved hard water stability

Lubricut (Semi-Synthetic)

  • Lubricut 1040 : Multi metal semi-synthetic product; Aluminum central tanks
  • Lubricut 1144 CF : Chlorine formulation similar to 1040; Steel and Aluminum

Lubricut (Synthetic)

  • LUBRICUT 4235 : Synthetic formulation with the claim of superior rust protection; Steel and Cast Iron
  • LUBRICUT 4265 : Low foaming multimetal product; Best suited for light weight Aluminum applications

CT (Soluble oil)
