Here is an awesome chart that provides a great metalworking fluid product selection reference guide from ITW-Rocol-North-America. This table not only talks about the product, and recommended material applications, but also gives additional information on performance parameters like Hard water Stability, Defoaming ability, Biostability and Rust Protection.  We love the four color 'Not Recommended, Acceptable, Better, Best' scheme!  They are the only company (besides Oelheld, I think) to have the balls to say "Not Recommended."  They might lose a sale; so what?  They might also avoid a product liability suit someday.  We think this would be our favorite chart if it included some detail regarding the machining operation, which is strangely absent.  Perhaps the relatively small product line is the answer, but even "ALL" would be nice to see.  Our second criticism, why not a row for the formulation type, even if they are all the same?  A very nice chart even so that gives the End User that quick overview she needs.  Thank you Rustlick!
