20^th March 2013: Los Angeles based industrial lubricant specialist, Chem Arrow, is actively expanding its presence in Mexico through a number of strategic activities following its success in Canada and Southern California.  A global leader in its field, Chem Arrow manufactures and markets a wide range of industrial lubricants, metalworking fluids, speciality products and cleaners and lines specifically designed for use in HVAC applications.  The independently owned company has ambitious expansion plans; it currently has manufacturing capabilities on three continents and will be actively targeting specific identified global markets over the coming months and years.

Chem Arrow’s Southern California manufacturing facility, coupled with Mexico’s growing economy, made Mexico the ideal location to begin its push for global expansion.  Area Sales Manager, Arturo Guerrero, has joined Chem Arrow to continue to grow the company’s HVAC business in Mexico. Arturo is an authority on the need for quality industrial fluids having previously worked as an engineer and press shop manager at Carrier UTC in Monterrey, Mexico.

Chem Arrow has also recently contracted a new distributor in Mexico as an additional route to market. Chihuahua based Tanner Machines and Tools has over 19 years’ experience in the metalworking industry and stocks a number of well-known machine tool brands. Tanner’s operation covers some of the most critical industrial zones in Mexico, including the North, Central and Southern regions.

Chem Arrow’s President, Hamish Mitchell, says, “Historically we have mainly sold Chem Arrow products direct to consumers. Our ambitious expansion plans mean we needed to find additional sales channels, so it made perfect sense to identify suitable distributors with an existing client base that we could sell in to. Tanner has an established reputation for providing a comprehensive all round service to metalworking clients and our products are a great fit with its existing lines.”

International marketing will be playing an ever increasing role to support Chem Arrow’s development plans. In recognition of the importance of reaching a Spanish speaking audience, Chem Arrow has launched a Spanish translation of its website, hosted in Mexico to support the company’s regional SEO efforts.

Hamish continues, “The Spanish translation has been introduced to minimize potential trading barriers. Whether customers are introduced to our products by our sales managers in Mexico, Jose Zapata, Ricardo Rubio, and Arturo Guerrero, through one of our Mexican distributors, or via an internet search engine, they will be able to easily access further product details if required. All of our product brochures have also been translated into Spanish and can be downloaded via the website.”

Chem Arrow’s existing distributors in Mexico, H & J Precision Tools, Inc. (based in Tijuana) and MAS CNC Suministros Ind. SA DE (based in Tlaquepaque), continue to play a vital role in Chem Arrow’s expansion into  Mexico.
