Since ancient times, India  has been a destination of travel and commerce for the World.  Everyone is now aware that it is the fastest developing manufacturing market with huge potential for the future.  Although everyone wants to play in this big field, they have many questions in mind.  The 1^st ICIS Indian Base Oils & Lubricants Conference will aim to promote a better understanding of Indian markets for those outside the country and provide a global perspective for those within India.  In bringing the international and domestic communities together for the first time inside India itself, this could be an opportunity to foster understanding of this complex market and promote all-important networking between the regions.  That said, we have had trouble getting a simple response from the organizers of the event.  Some of their listed emails addresses are wrong and when we finally get someone we are forwarded to another that never responds.  As a result, we can't recommend this conference this year.  Maybe we will see signs of better organization next year.  A bad trip to India can be a very bad trip.
