It's time to dust off that lunch pail and pack a sandwich. You don't want to miss Fred Passman's lunchtime presentation on October 1st. The roulette wheel of biocide regulation is not a game where you can win anything. It's more like the picture shown. You need to know exactly where that wheel is at all times. The STLE Webinar's are a great way to stay on top of your MWF game, and Fred is as good a presenter as STLE has ever had. Don't miss this one! Login early to make sure all of the Webinar features are working for you. May 2013 was a watershed month for antimicrobial pesticide regulations. The U.S. issued 78FR26978 - a set of revisions to 40CFR158 Subpart W - Antimicrobial Pesticide Data Requirements. The EU issued the new Biocidal Products Directive (BPR); superseding the Biocidal Products Directive (BPD) of 1998. Most recently, in mid-August, The National Academy of Sciences' National Research Council decided to uphold US EPA's Formaldehyde IRIS (Integrated Risk Information System) conclusion that formaldehyde was a known carcinogen. During this presentation, attendees will be provided with a detailed update on the recent developments and their implications.
