After five years at Commonwealth Oil, Dave Foster has moved to Master Chemical.  In his notice to friends, Dave stated "The new derivatives and directions of the company are not suitable to me and that is the reason I have decided to call it a day."  Somebody please translate this for me.  Does it mean "My new boss was a dick" or does it mean "They insisted I work a full day."   One thing is for sure, Big Dave has left the building and you can find him at Master Chemical.  Send us an update regarding your new place, and please - tell us why you made the move.

DON'T MISS - The August edition of Tribology and Lubrication Technology has some great information on surfactant technology - mixing oil and water.  This article is a great introduction to the chemical technology that is fundamental to metalworking fluids.  Learn terms like wetting, suspension, colloid, dispersion, and more.  You'll sound like the smartest lady in the room.  -You have to give it up to STLE.  TLT was already the slickest publication in the industry, and they just made viewing and paginating even easier.
